My name is Lucy! I am a married, mother of 3 boys, ages 18, 19 and 23. Proud to say they have all achieved Rank of Eagle, in the Boy Scouts. Like to think I had something to do with it. I am also the mom to a cute “Teddy Bear” named Milo. He is a Shih Tzu/Bichon mix. I was a stay at home mom for many years, though I worked in my husband’s company, in my free time. I decided to go back in the work force about 6 years ago. First I started as a teacher’s assistant in a nursery school, then became their administrative assistant. From there I went to my State Farm agent and inquired about a position. I took the state test and passed!! Not easy for a 49 year old to study for a test, never mind pass, but I have to say it’s a great accomplishment. I have been working with the company since 2017 and have met many wonderful people. I hope this inspires many stay at home moms, who may want to go back to the workforce know that anything is achievable.
